Saint-Elzear, the hidden face of Gaspésie
Guided tour of one of the oldest caves in Québec, over 200,000 years old, containing an impressive variety of bones and concretions.
Safe, comfortable and spacious setting for the entire family. Children must be self-reliant on a ladder. Warm clothing required (4ºC, degree of relative humidity of 100%). Visitors can also enjoy a newly accessible cave, for people who like cave crawling.

The Battle of the Ristigouche National Historic Site
Discover the many artefacts uncovered during the underwater archaeological digs at the site of the wreck of the French frigate Le Machault commemorating the final naval battle between France and Great Britain for possession of New France in 1760. The rescue mission was supported by Acadian refugees from Petite Rochelle and the Listuguj Mi’gmaq. The interior of Le Machault has been recreated and a film, available on a touch-screen tablet, draws a portrait of the naval confrontation. Photo exhibit showcasing fifty years of Parks Canada underwater archaeology.

Miguasha National Parc (Fossil site)
Member of the Québec Park Network and exceptional natural site of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, this park preserves a fossil rich cliff of international renown.
This notoriety reached a turning point with the unveiling of the first complete specimen of Elpistostege watsoni discovered on the planet. Remarkably preserved, the Miguasha fish fossils helped us to understand the passage of vertebrates from aquatic to terrestrial life.
Permanent exhibit, family activities, Elpi rally, puppet theatre, sand box, lunch counter, shop and picnic areas. Trail and cliff not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
